The Garcés Silva family have long had a deep connection to nature. With a long tradition of cultivating the land, passed down through generations.
In 1999, the Garcés Silva family planted the first vines at their property becoming pioneers in the Leyda Valley. Since that date they have become experts in cool-climate wines, distinguished by their passion for creating renowned coastal wines that capture the essence of the terroir.
They built a state-of-the-art winery in 2002, which was the first of its kind in the Leyda Valley and then launched the Amayna range in 2003 and the Boya range later, which are considered driving forces behind the rise to fame of wines from the Leyda Valley.

Harvest : Cold and late harvest with a very small crop. Fruit picking between 28th of march and 1st of April 2023, fruit selection in vineyards. Hand-picked.
Whole cluster pressed.
Fermentation : Stainless steel and French oak foudre and barrels at natural temperatures. 10 months contact with the lees after fermentation without racking.
Aging : 30% stainless steel and 70% in French oak barrels (10% of which is new) and foudres for 16 months.
Of a golden pale colour, Chardonnay Amayna 2023 shows a very complex and intense profile in the nose with aromas of fresh citrus fruit, wet stones and a ripe note of peaches. The oak is very gentle, almost imperceptible, just adding some toasty notes to support the complexity and gives an elegant finish to the wine. The mouth is concentrated with tension highlighting the texture and full flavour mineral finish.
Ideal pairings are fatty fishes (salmon, tuna), seafood preparations, cheese, or a pumpkin soup.
Ageing potencial 4 – 6 years.
