The Garcés Silva family have long had a deep connection to nature. With a long tradition of cultivating the land, passed down through generations.
In 1999, the Garcés Silva family planted the first vines at their property becoming pioneers in the Leyda Valley. Since that date they have become experts in cool-climate wines, distinguished by their passion for creating renowned coastal wines that capture the essence of the terroir.
They built a state-of-the-art winery in 2002, which was the first of its kind in the Leyda Valley and then launched the Amayna range in 2003 and the Boya range later, which are considered driving forces behind the rise to fame of wines from the Leyda Valley.
The poor soils and gentle ocean breezes create tremendous aromatic potential and the great intensity reflected in the wine’s floral aromas and fresh, exotic fruit.
Hand picked between 13th of March to 5th of April 2024 (very cold and late harvest) grape selection in the vineyard.
Destemmed and pneumatic pressed with minimum skin contact.
10 to 15 days in stainless steel tank at temperatures between: 15° – 17°C. The wine was kept for an average of 6 months over the lees.
Bright pale golden colour with shades of green. Shows a good intensity and complexity of fresh lime and a mineral sensation. After a few minutes in the
glass shows some ripe and tropical notes like physalis fruit with a hint of fresh pineapple and white peach. It finishes with a gentle herbal character very
classic in the Leyda Valley Sauvignon Blancs. In mouth is concentrated and creamy with a balanced acidity that gives a fresh feeling with a good contrast
of a salinity taste in the back palate.
A full, balanced wine with personality and exquisite elegance.
Ideal with goat cheese, shellfish, oysters and mild fish.
Will improve over 3 years with careful cellaring.
