Domaine de la Madelaine is located in Saint Romain sur Cher, 8 km from Saint Aignan, in the heart of Touraine. The Charbonnier family has been working the vineyard since 1986, and today it is the son who leads the vineyard with the help of his father. Touraine sauvignon from Domaine de la Madelaine is a fresh and lively wine with a very aromatic profile.
Viticulture
Temperate climate influenced by the Loire, Cher and the Sologne Forest.
100% Sauvignon Blanc grown in sand on clay and chalky subsoil.
Winemaking
Pneumatic direct pressing with must selection. Fermentation in temperature-controlled stainless steel-vats between 12 to 24 hours.
Tasting Note
Beautiful pale yellow-green colour. Exotic fruits and citrus fruit aromas with a great acidity and minerality. A lovely persistent finish.
Goes well with
Ideal with seafood, creamy pasta dishes, chicken, fruit (strawberry) dessert.

Best within 2 – 3 years.
