Miles initially landed in the UK from Australia in the early 2000’s to play professional cricket, but soon spread his wine knowledge throughout Lancashire and Yorkshire and founded Milestone Wines in 2017. A proud Master of Wine having passed the exam in 2015, he’s driven by seeking out fantastic new producers the world over.

Emma McRobb

Having worked for some of the biggest names in the UK wine industry for nearly 20 years, Emma made the switch to join partner Miles in 2020. Looking after the Agency division for the business she’s a key part of the buying decisions we make as a company and is blazing pour trail across the UK’s off-trade.
Richard Bracken
On Trade Director
Having worked in top restaurants in Cumbria and London since leaving school, Richard is well versed in leading our On Trade division in the North of England as well as being another key part of the buying decisions at Milestone. We’re also incredibly proud that he was named in Harper’s inaugural 30 under 30 list in 2022.
Tom Shelbourn
On Trade Sales – Northern Account Manager
Our most recent addition to the team, Tom joins us after stepping over to the dark side from working for the likes of Grantley Hall and El Gato Negro.
We’re delighted to have Tom on board and have no doubt that he’ll be a huge success this side of the fence.
Gemma Hargreaves

Gemma is a key cog in the Milestone machine and is vastly experienced in the role. Hailing from the local area, you can mostly find her tearing her hair out at shipping companies and bonded warehouses!

Our most recent addition to the team, Emma joined in March this year to play a major role in our operations. Many of our existing customers will know Emma from dealing with her day to day, and she’s our master at sorting out any issues.
Chris Taylor
Warehouse Manager
We welcome Chris back to Milestone for the 2nd time…he moved on to new adventures but we have hassled him for the past 12 months to come back and we couldn’t be happier!
Chris will become a fundamental part of Milestone’s logistics, from managing our warehouse to liaising with our producers and suppliers to make sure we have enough goodies to sell to our customers.
